    Old Acushnet Club Special. #1 but no other markings. Any idea of the age of this ball?

    I'm going to guess the 60's but I could be way off. Interested to hear how you "found" it.

    Our club is 76 years old and, as with many others here who found old balls, one of the ponds was drained and dredged and LOTS of balls were dumped nearby. I actually stepped on this by accident. It was completely covered in mud and couldn't be seen. Given the style of lettering, I'm guessing it's older than the 60's.
