For any team members who have this club or are considering buying this club, what’s your take?

I traded for a non-Titleist driver, a hybrid and some cash for a mint condition GT1 driver on 2nd Swing despite never hitting it because I have the GT1 3 wood and love it. Should get it on 1/26/26. I’ll post a follow up review.

Looking forward to reading your thoughts. Thanks.

Hopefully it works out well for you. Anything except a proper fitting is always guesswork. I have GT1 fairways but was fit in the GT2 driver. GT1 just spun a little too much which caused the ball to ballon and land with no roll out. I needed the driver roll out as a short hitter to get as much distance off the tee as possible. Lofts and shafts are a factor too. Wishing you the best and hoping you love it as much as your fairway club.

I’m definitely in even the low end of the target group for the GT-1 woods. 80 mph driver head speed.

The TSR-2 I got at the beginning of that cycle was losing distance due to some “structural” changes in me. Last year I swapped to a GT-1 12 degree with an Air Speeder 40 g shaft. Got most of my distance back with better launch and spin. I’m not looking to replace it.

Can’t launch a 3W to save my soul. Might as well try a 1 iron. I do have a 45 year old 3 iron blade. That didn’t work, either.

My next club is a 5W TSR-1. It is about 10 yards shorter off of a tee than driver. Not enough benefit to upgrade to GT-1 fairways when the gap is correct.

Got fitted for GT1 10 degree loft (From TSR 1 12 degree loft 40g regular stock shaft). Upgraded to Ventus White Velocore + 50g stiff shaft. Agree with Dale regarding going to a certified club fitter. I never would have considered a stiff shaft given my 85 mpm swing speed.

Given the 33% price reduction on GT, I elected not to wait for Titleist"s new woods release .Took the savings and upgraded to a premium shaft that added 15 yards which is huge considering my average drive is only 200 yards .

Also found the GT slightly more forgiving (especially on heel mishits. I highly recommend getting fitted.

PS I tried both the new cally and TM drivers. Neither performed as well as my TSR or new GT driver.
