The number 4 on the Lake Course at Kingwood Country Club was playing 215 yards. My wife and step-son were with me to celebrate his birthday, and Mother's Day. I took advantage of the occasion for a celebration of my own, carding my first hole-in-one after 45 years of playing this great game. I've played over 2500 rounds which means over 10,000 par threes. I have bounced off the stick on many occasions, carded an albatross from 245 yards, but a hole-in-one had eluded me until May 10th, 2026. Cheers!
