All embarrassed I walk over and apologize but they were really nice about it and actually followed me back to the tee box to watch me hit my tee shot! As I’m walking up to the ball I hear, “After that now you HAVE to hit a hole in one” now shaking I hit the ball and it was pure. I work as a course ranger so I end up with a pretty mixed bag of Pro V1s from different years, and honestly playing them side by side I feel like something has changed around the greens. The latest ones just don't seem to grab the way older models did, at least to my eye and feel. Been thinking about giving the Pro V1x a proper try for the first time. From what I understand it plays a bit firmer and higher flight off the tee, but I'm curious whether the greenside spin is actually comparable or better in the current model. Anyone made that switch or played both back to back recently? Would love to hear some real on course impressions before I commit.
